CHARACTERISTICS

Insulfrax is an eco-friendly, refractory ceramic fibre, ideal for furnaces insulation.
It is used in industry, as thermal insulator, protection against heat, gaskets and expansion joints containment, for temperatures up to 1200°C, in industrial furnaces and boilers, in aerospace and automotive fields.
It is a completely inorganic product, and it does not create smoke when heated.
Excellent resistance to heat, high resistance to traction, low shrinkage, low thermal conduction, thermal shock resistance, good acoustic absorption.
