LUISO W62 for annealing

APPLICATION

LUISO W62 is a solvent-free protective paint and provides excellent protection for steel components against oxidation during heat treatment up to temperature of 1100°C. The paint is delivered ready for painting.

Before using LUISO W62 should be stired up shortly and then applied with a paint brush. The work pieces to be treated must be free of grease and dirt! One layer is sufficient. To avoid evaporation the cans should be sealed hermetically after use. To restore normal viscositiy the stop off paint can be diluted by adding up to 2 % water. No special thinners are necessary.

The dry off time for LUISO W62 is 30 minutes. The heat treatment with LUISO W62 should not exceed temperatures above 1100 °C.

After heat treatment LUISO W62 residues may be removed by washing in hot water or with steel-brush. The paint is environment-friendly and therefore no special precautions are required.

PACKING

LUISO W62 is delivered in PP-cans of 1 kg.

STORAGE

LUISO W62 is sensitive to frost. Storage at room temperature is recommended. Opened cans should be sealed hermetically after use. Storage time should not exceed 12 months.
