SLC Sealing paste for pack carburizing

CHARACTERISTICS:

Easily molded plastic mixture made of ceramic materials with high-temperature resistant binder.

OPERATING RANGE:

Heat treatment of metals
– For sealing of CARBURIZING BOXES.
– As a protective coating for parts that don’t need to be carburized, such as smooth or threaded holes, or special parts that need to be further processed.
– In induction hardening to reduce the effect of hardening on drilled parts near the surfaces.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE:

Mould the paste with hands or with the help of palettes or other tools, and then apply regularly on the surfaces.

NOTES:

SLC paste hardens in contact with air. Always keep the container carefully closed. After use you can press the surface and cover it with a wet cloth.

SAFETY STANDARDS:

The product is not hazardous. Anyway, use it following the correct safety standards for products in workshops.
