Ceramic microspheres for sandblasting

SKU: ZIRCOSIL Category:

CHARACTERISTICS:

Ceramic microspheres for wet and dry sanders.
ZIRCOSIL has a spherical form and white colour, and has characteristics of medium aggressiveness similar to glass microspheres, but unlike these ones, it has a very high breaking resistance and consequently a longer duration in the form. This allows a superficial finishing which is constant through the time.
Another characteristic is that they are almost free of dust, which allows less maintenance of filtering systems.

ADVANTAGES OVER THE USE OF GLASS MICROSPHERES:

Reduced microspheres consumption (8-10 times).
Reduced metal roughness.
Reduced dust formation. (The Zircosil microspheres do not contain silica particles).
Lower curing pressure.
Good microspheres slip – no humidity sensitivity – easy storage.
Machine and components wear and tear is reduced.
Reduced corners attack.

PACKING:

25 Kg. Plastic containers in the following mesh:

Z 20 Ø 600 ÷ 850 µm
Z 40 Ø 250 ÷ 425 µm
Z 60 Ø 125 ÷ 250 µm
Z 120 Ø 70 ÷ 125 µm
Z 205 Ø 0 ÷ 70 µm

USE AND CHARACTERISTICS:

The Zircosil ceramic spheres are fully compatible with the following types of sanders:
– Compressed air (wet and dry)
– Turbine

COMPRESSED AIR:

The strong impact energy of the Zircosil ceramic spheres significantly reduces consumption and hence cost savings to the installer are considerable. As the likelihood of the spheres breaking is rather limited, the formation of dust particles is considerably reduced, thus optimising the operating visibility. The high-density Zircosil ceramic spheres enhance cleaning effects and decrease the operating pressure.
In case of particularly harsh operating conditions, pressure can be increased up to 6 bar.

PACKING MESH:

Z 60 Ø 125 ÷ 250 µm
Z 120 Ø 70 ÷ 125 µm
Z 205 Ø 0 ÷ 70 µm

TURBINE:

Zirblast ceramic balls tend to reduce the wear and tear of the dies.
Although their initial cost is slightly higher, they allow for substantial savings when subsequently polishing, repairing and/replacing the dies.

PACKING MESH:

Z 20 Ø 600 ÷ 850 µm
Z 40 Ø 250 ÷ 425 µm
